      <image:title>Dr Rosie Burton - About Rosie</image:title>
<image:caption>Clinical Psychologist and BABCP Accred. CBT Therapist Rosie is an experienced Clinical Psychologist and BABCP accredited CBT therapist. She is trained in a variety of therapeutic models and approaches; including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Inference-Based CBT. Rosie has a particular interest and expertise in treating OCD having worked at a National and Specialist Service in London and completing her doctoral research on OCD in children and young people. Rosie uses gold standard psychological treatments for OCD, including Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). She has recently completed further training in Inference Based CBT for clients where ERP has not been effective. Rosie qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2012 and has worked in a variety of NHS settings since then including; Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (Oxford), the National and Specialist Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Service for Children and Young People (London), HIV and Sexual Health (London and Norwich) and Infant and Maternal Mental Health (London). She has also volunteered for the UK Sri Lanka Trauma Group in Sri Lanka, where she taught on the MSc in Clinical Psychology at the University of Colombo. Her therapeutic style is integrative which means she uses a range of therapeutic approaches depending on client needs and preferences, so she tends not to stick rigidly to a one size fits all way of working. This allows her to be flexible and client-centred no matter who she is working with. In addition to her clinical work, Rosie co-founded Minerva Training and Consultancy Ltd. Minerva offer training to health and social care sectors in evidenced-based psychological therapies. Whilst she has been trained in various therapeutic models Rosie believes the corner-stone of any effective talking therapy is a good therapeutic relationship. Therapy also needs to be challenging and self-reflection can feel uncomfortable. Rosie offers a compassionate space where this can be experienced safely and with kindness. This can enable acceptance and change to occur.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Dr Madeleine Tatham - About Madeleine</image:title>
<image:caption>Chartered Clinical Psychologist and BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist As an experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Madeleine is trained to use a wide range of therapeutic approaches for a variety of mental health problems. Having undertaken further Postgraduate training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Madeleine’s main therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches. Regardless of therapeutic approach taken, Madeleine embraces working flexibly with each individual to ensure that the chosen therapy approach best suits his or her needs and preferences. Since qualifying, Madeleine has specialised in working with adults and older adolescents presenting with eating disorders and associated problems, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, Over-Eating and Obesity. She has worked in a variety of NHS settings including Specialist Community Eating Disorder Services (Hertfordshire, Norfolk) and Outpatient, Day-patient and Inpatient Services (London), working with individuals, couples and families at different stages of their journey and lifespan. Although primarily delivering evidence-based approaches, this inevitably involves being responsive to each individual’s notion of recovery, often including a focus on wider issues such as improved quality of lived experience, relationships and communication with others. Madeleine also has substantial experience of working with co-existing problems such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, OCD and trauma. As a BABCP accredited practitioner, she can offer treatment interventions specially tailored to each of these difficulties. When working with co-existing or complex problems, the importance of adopting a person-centred approach is emphasised, with the aim of fostering a strong and collaborative working relationship within which to agree and address difficulties together. In addition to her clinical work, Madeleine is an accredited BABCP supervisor and is regularly involved in the teaching, training and supervision of others. As well as contributing to the eating disorders research field with a number of publications, including co-authorship of an eating disorders treatment manual, she regularly teaches on Clinical Psychology Doctorate teaching programmes in the UK and has held academic / teaching roles at the Universities of East Anglia, Hertfordshire and Sheffield. Madeleine’s clinical research interests include developing service initiatives and treatments to increase accessibility and reduce waiting times, whilst still achieving good treatment outcomes.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Dr Catherine Spencer - About Catherine.</image:title>
<image:caption>Catherine qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2006 at University of East Anglia. Her main area of speciality is working with adults with mental health problems. She divides her time between NHS practice and private work. She also works as an APT trainer delivering mental health training to NHS and private organisations on a range of subjects. She is involved in the training and support of Trainee Clinical Psychologist’s beginning their journey into the profession. Catherine takes an integrative approach to working with clients- tailoring the treatment to their individual needs. Training as a Clinical Psychologist means that she has gained knowledge in delivering a wide array of different therapeutic approaches. However, she most commonly draws on third wave approaches in her work which includes acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), mindfulness based cognitive therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). These methods emphasise mindfulness, emotions, acceptance, the relationship, values, goals and meta cognition (thinking about thinking). Catherine is also trained in Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is particularly effective for treating trauma. The important of a collaborative relationship is emphasised throughout the therapy. The process of therapy usually begins with Catherine offering up to 4 sessions to complete an assessment and formulate a psychological understanding of the client’s difficulties. From here a treatment plan is agreed between Catherine and the client. Treatment is reviewed regularly to ensure the sessions are remaining on track and client’s feel happy with their progress. Length of treatment is negotiated as is the frequency of sessions. Catherine offers some daytime and evening appointments.</image:caption>
